BeatCodex roadmap
BeatCodex V0.1 is a functional MIDI-only drum workflow plugin under active stabilization. The public mapping catalog is the main interactive layer today while compatibility, packaging, documentation, and tester workflows are prepared for a broader beta.
Current alpha foundation
These systems are implemented or substantially implemented in the current V0.1 alpha. They are being tested and refined; availability does not imply universal host, sampler, library, or controller compatibility.
Public beta preparation
The next milestone is not building the plugin from scratch. It is preparing the existing alpha for reliable public evaluation and a clear release path.
Compatibility testing across DAWs, operating systems, samplers, libraries, and controllers
Bug fixing and workflow refinement
Installer and release packaging
Licensing and trial infrastructure
Update and release-delivery systems
Documentation and onboarding
Factory mapping validation
Demo production
Tester intake and feedback handling
Later roadmap
These are longer-horizon directions, not release commitments or dated promises.
Demos
The demo assets are not finished yet. When published, these clips will demonstrate workflows already present in the alpha rather than hypothetical future features.
Show the alpha pattern editor, playlist, and Beat Variants in a focused writing workflow.
Demonstrate library-aware translation and target-kit articulation mapping.
Show how abstracted articulations can be corrected without rebuilding the whole pattern.
Demonstrate the current mapping and export workflow for a practical DAW setup.
Show timing refinement already present in the alpha editor.
